I posted on 20/12/2016 about an invitation to appraise a house owned by an Australian couple, worth about $1M. I explained and advised the owners to reconsider their option.

On Monday 9/1/2017, I received an SMS from the owners:
(We) have decided to leave things as they are for now. Thank you for your advice.

I replied as follows:
I think it's the right move. I do like to make some money by selling your house, but then my conscience will not permit me to advise so. ....

Unlike other agents / vendor advocates, my principles and conscience are my guiding stars. Selling the home of the owners is different from selling an investment property.

The home is their castle and has emotional attachment, memories and other factors. I love the owners hold on to all these as long they can unless circumstances do not permit them to do so.

Will they look for me to help them when the right time comes? I firmly believe so. Why? I the husband's mum entrusted me to sell her home about two year's ago.

I know I am doing the right thing, because I just told you my story without any distortion!
